HEALING TOUCH COMMUNITY/REGIONAL MEETING

We are fortunate to have Dorothea Hover-Kramer as our guest speaker. She will talk about her new Healing Touch Guidebook and some of the energy psychology ideas included in it. Dorothea has been a psychotherapist in private practice for over 30 years and combines her career as a psychologist with a background as a clinical nurse specialist. She co-founded the International Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology (ACEP), served as past president and was instrumental in designing and implementing its certification program. Dorothea is the author of six other books about energy therapies including Healing Touch: a guidebook for practitioners (2002), Creative Energies: integrative energy psychotherapy for self-expression and healing (2002), Creating Right Relationships: a practical guide to ethics in energy therapies (2007) and Second Chance at Your Dream: engaging your body's energy resources for optimal aging, creativity, and health (2009). Dorothea is an activist in her community as well as a performing musician, an exhibiting artist, and an appreciator of nature and wildlife. She lives with her husband and dogs on the Olympic Peninsula.

Cost is $20 and includes lunch.

The program begins at 9:30 a.m. After lunch we will have a business meeting and treatment exchange. In addition to people who have taken a Healing Touch class, those who have completed classes in Healing Touch for Animals or Healing Touch Spiritual Ministry and Aromatherapy are welcome to come to the meeting.
